Clinical case description
Female patient with ice pick scars secondary to acne in the malar region, with violet pigmentation due to post-inflammatory inflammation, a common condition for this type of scarring. After treatment, there is a noticeable reduction in the size of the scars, along with improvement and reduction in the hyperpigmentation around the scars and on the chin. Follow-up photos have been taken with VISIA, a medical imaging diagnostic system.
